The students were hungry for art. They began painting immediately,
as if they had been waiting all their lives for this chance to paint wit an
artist. The students did not want to go to lunch.
Even when the principal came in and
reminded them it was lunch time, the students sat still, wanting more from
Wildcat about his art, or more time to paint their own paintings.
Their eyes tell the story. Student
interest, concentration, attention, and excitement was evident in every school
and workshop. Here you see it in the faces of students from San Vincente
School, as Wildcat draws and paints with them. Wildcat shared his art with
students in schools all over the island, and the University of Guam. KAHA
offered three weekend workshops, and two exhibits with the artist and his
work.
