In 2001 Wayne Wildcat and his wife, Tolly traveled Guam to participate in a 1 1/2-month artist-in-residence program. The program is part of the "America Creates for the Millennium program", supported by the National Endowment for the Arts and the Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation.

The Hilton hotel,  the Guam Arts Center were host to Wayne's exhibits. He taught three to five times a week at  schools, and workshops and talked at the University of Guam in the central district of Mangilao.

Many of his exhibits addressed the history of American Indians.

Wildcat's art was on exhibit at this breathtakingly beautiful "Two Lover's Point" on the north island on Guam, the site of KAHA Art Gallery.
